Ismaléia reproduced a painting printed in England around 1830, entitled 'The Giraffe', kept at the Musée de l'impression sur Etoffes in Mulhouse. It commemorates the diplomatic gifts of Mehémet Ali, Viceroy in Egypt, to the three greatest European monarchs, Charles X, George IV and François I in 1826. The giraffe, destined for Charles X, landed in Marseille, and crossed France to its new home in Paris.
